Project 52 Week 35: “Street”

Welcome to Week 35 of our Professional Pet Photographer Project Blog Circle!

This week’s topic is “street”, so I thought I would introduce you to the street I have lived on for the past 6 years in Georgetown, MA!  We moved here in 2011 and it’s a cul-de-sac with 9 homes that were built in the 1970’s.  We have about an acre and a half of land, much of it being conservation land which is wonderful!  We’ve made a trail behind our yard that leads to a main hiking trail.  I love the winter time when I can just throw on my snowshoes and head out back with Kota – we can avoid the roads!

With our street being a “dead end” it’s usually on the quiet side!  I decided to photograph my husband Pete, and Kota doing a run up our road!  Kota makes a wonderful running companion, especially in the cooler weather!  She does a nice job running on the streets, which did take a little bit of training when she was a puppy.  She knows the cue “let’s run”!

The following images are a bit of “street running” on Prescott Lane!  Notice Kota’s happiness!  The day was slightly on the cooler side, too!

  1. Great images – hitting the trails tomorrow! Kota loves to run, still waiting for snow – cooler weather helps her b + winter is on the way!

  2. What a wonderful, happy girl! She so enjoys that time, that is certain!

I particularly like your image of the paws and sneakers; it tells a great story so subtly.
