Project 52 Week 14: “Urban”

Welcome to week 14 of the 52 Week Pet Photography Project Blog Circle.  This week’s topic is “Urban”

My plan:  To head into downtown Newburyport, MA and see what dogs I could photograph ~ how fun!  They have great restaurants and lots of dog friendly shops to visit.

Reality:  I’ve been fighting a cold for 2 weeks – ugh!  I still wanted to somehow take part in this week’s blog.  I live in the country and the view from my window is lots of tall trees  – nothing urban about that!  If the topic was “rural” I’d be right outside my house taking photos 🙂 But this week I spend my days drinking green tee with lots of honey and slurping chicken soup.  I”m sleeping 12 hours a night and hanging out in pajamas.  How can I make an “urban” post?

Here it is:  Kota enjoying dinner at a nice “artsy” restaurant, “The Pooches Palate”.  Doesn’t she look like she is clearly enjoying herself?  A nice Pinot Grigio with her Filet Mignon!  Lucky pup!!!  (this is what 2 week’s of not feeling well will do to someone – haha!)

Fabulous food, wine and service!

Thanks for stopping by!  Follow the blog circle for some “real” urban images!!!  I look forward to feeling better and actually heading into the city for some pics!  Next up is Linda of DogShotz Photography serving the Indianapolis IN area.  Enjoy!

  1. You are so creative. What fun and playful shots!

I, too, live rura so no blog for me this week as out-of-town company makes heading downtown a challenge. If only next week was urban; I have a session at a downtown park this Saturday.

    1. Thanks, Jessica! I loved the topic and hope to get more “city” stuff … I do so much rural and on the trails! Hope your park session went great this weekend!!!

    1. Thanks, Kim! The ever lasting cold – ugh! She definitely looks entertained and thinks I’m out of my mind – haha!

  2. Lucky pup indeed! Haven’t had Filet Mignon in quite a while. Like the second picture of Kota enjoying a glass of wine.
