What does one do while being in “isolation”, which is this week’s blog group’s topic? Come up with a weekly social media challenge, of course!
It’s a challenging time for all of us, that’s for sure. I have my good days, and then I have the days where I just want to curl up in bed listening to the stories told in some of my favorite country artists music. There is no right or wrong in how we tackle each day during this pandemic – we are aloud to “feel”.
This week my goal is to bring smiles! I started up the Pant the Town Stay at Home With Your Pets Challenge, with a little weekly incentive “prize” for the winner. On Sundays I will post the weekly prize. This week it’s a beautiful drawing a local artist donated for the contest. She lives in Bradford, MA, and her business is Gayle’s Art Room. Here is a picture:
On Monday mornings, the challenge will be announced on Facebook and Instagram. This week’s topic is a fun one! It’s “Who Wore It Best (on their head)”. People will have the week to photograph the topic, using their cell phone, camera, anything available that takes pictures 🙂 This week’s criteria I will be judging is style, creativity, and mood. They must make their post “public” and use the hashtag, #pttstayathome so I can search the photos. Here is Kota’s take this week, as she is my “stay at home” model 🙂
Each week I will be choosing a “guest judge” to make things fair. This week my long time friend, Jason, will be helping to choose the winning image. He and I worked for the airlines and we traveled the world together for years. I took this picture a few years back with his pup, Tucker. Jason is currently enjoying the snow in VT with his 2 Border Collies, Sheltie, and awesome husband, Dave.
Each week’s winner will be announced on Saturday morning, whenever I wake up and have my coffee in hand. Please consider entering!
