A beautiful summer morning for a Backyard photo session with Annie, Rowan and Ruby!

Backyard Fun with Annie, Rowan and Ruby

Pant the Town Photography offers custom on- location sessions for you and your pets. We meet at a local beach, a favorite hiking trail, an area vineyard, and even right in your own backyard! The initial consult, whether by phone or in-person, is where I learn all about your pets and we brainstorm the best location for all.

I recently met and photographed beautiful Springer Spaniel, Annie, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s, Rowan and Ruby. I learned that these three dogs do agility with their mom every Thursday and they LOVE it! We decided on their backyard to do photos – it was fenced in, they could run around, have fun, and be super comfortable! The setting was perfect!

We met on a Friday morning at 9:00 AM. It was a bright, sunny day, but we were fortunate to have open shade to work with. I brought meatballs as a treat and the pups instantly were in love! They are super food motivated and also are rockstars at “sitting” for the camera.

There was a beautiful stone wall the made for a great spot for the dogs to pose on. Doesn’t Annie, standing, look so regal? This image was perfect for a canvas mom chose to be displayed as guests come into the home.

  1. Excellent photos. Great to shoot a photo session in a relaxed area for the customer, especially their backyard. Pets are so much happier if they are in a area they know well.

    1. Thank you! Yes, I find sessions at home to be the most fun and relaxed for the dogs… and owners, to! They really can be themselves!
