It’s that time of year! Sunny days, pretty flowers with pops of bright colors, and patios opening for you and your dog to enjoy a beverage with beautiful scenery. June 1st the outdoor patio opened up seven days a week at Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown, NH, so I thought this was the perfect time to share this hidden gem.
I know you’re saying, “Darlene, your dog is a homebody and you don’t take her anywhere.” True, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know some of the best places to take your dogs! When I’m out on the vineyard patio, I pet ALL the dogs!
The vineyard grounds are stunning and picturesque. They have 80 acres in the middle of a forest. Honestly, out of all of the vineyards I have been to in New England, theirs are the best kept and beautiful no matter what season of the year. Zorvino Vineyards is family owned and operated, with a winery, tasting room, gift shop, and event venue. I did attend a wedding here and highly recommend them!
Patio seating can be reserved on their website. They offer wine flights and wine by the bottle, along with a delicious menu of salads and sandwiches. They even sell Happy Belly Bites treats for you dog to enjoy. There summer patio menu was just released – I’m excited! Their hand cut parmesan truffle fries are amazing and they have some new sandwiches and flatbreads this year. The Italian Dream and the Sausage, Spinach and Ricotta are on my list to try!
I don’t have an updated Wine Flight menu for 2022, but here are the flights from last year. If you are looking for a summer sip to take home with you, the Mango Magnifico, a blend of mango and white wine, is one of my favorites!
I hope you head out to the vineyard and enjoy the grounds with your dog this summer! Mark your calendar for Saturday July 30th for the 2nd annual Wine for Wags Festival at Zorvino Vineyards. It’s a fun day!
Also, I will be putting together a North of Boston Dog Lover’s Guide, so stay tuned! And if you have any recommendations for dog friendly outings, please be sure to put in the comments or drop me an email. I love learning about new places and visiting!
This week’s post is part of a pet photographer’s blog circle and we are sharing summer hot spots for you and your dog! Next up is Angela Schneider of Big White Dog Photography, hunting for dog-friendly spots from Spokane to Coeur d’Alene. Angela is an amazing writer and I know you will enjoy her post! Holy buckets that place is AMAZING!!! Just wow. The color, the vines, the scenery, the wine AND they have a dog! Seems like heaven to me.
What a beautiful place to have your dog photographed! The colors in the vineyards make a stunning backdrop.
What a beautiful place! Would love to take my dog there.
