Meet the Lucky Tails of the North Shore Cover Model

Have you heard the news?  Tails of the North Shore, the collector’s edition coffee table book raising funds for the MSPCA Nevins Farm has introduced the cover model! Meet stunning Sona, an adorable rescue pooch prancing  on Plum Island Beach in Newburyport.  It was definitely a challenge choosing the cover – all of the dogs (and bunny!) were amazing! This image covered the “Shore” aspect of the title, and Sona’s adorable swishing tail fit perfectly with the “Tails” part.  Pink is my favorite color, hence why it is part of my branding, so having that in the image was another plus.  A huge thank-you to my dad, who chose this image as a favorite and I just had to go with it!   Isn’t Sona the cutest? She looks like she has a story to tell!

I first met Sona several years ago.  Before I was a pet photographer, I was a dog walker.  I walked Sona and her brother, Ollie for a few years.  I also worked with their mom at the MSPCA.  Mom was head of the training department and I taught group dog training classes – it’s a small world!

I’m so excited to have both dogs a part of the book project!

Dogs on Plum Island Beach

Ollie and Sona love adventures!  We chose Plum Island Beach since it’s their favorite beach to romp and explore.

Sona’s favorite thing to do according to her mom?  “She loves to roll – anytime, anywhere!”
