Welcome to week 33 of our 52 Week Pet Photography Blog Circle. This week’s topic is “Wood” so I thought my recent photo session fit in perfectly!
I met up last week with a lovely woman and her dog, Dutchess, and cat, Mayben at Endicott Park in Danvers, MA. I location scouted this park prior to our session, as mom was looking for a “rustic/wood” theme. The park is beautiful! They have horses and chickens, a lovely barn that makes for a great backdrop. They also have beautiful flowers, fences, and a nice pond with lily pads. The light shines beautifully on the pond during golden hour.
Dutchess and Mayben did amazing! I admit…. I wasn’t quite sure how the cat would do! He was a STAR poser!
The following image is one of my absolute favorite ways to frame – with barnwood! Here is one of the styles that I offer for framing which goes nicely with any of these park images.
When I met up with mom for her ordering session I learned that she has another dog and cat at home! Looking forward to photographing them in the future!
Thanks for stopping by this week’s blog! Next up in our circle is Jo Lyons Photography – down-to-earth dog loving photographer for cherished dogs of Sydney up to the Great Lakes Region of NSW. Follow along and see some takes on “wood” for this week’s theme. Enjoy your weekend!
Great shots. Shot of mom & dog is excellent. Barns make a good background. Like the barnwood frame.
I need to have a barn like that in my location list. 😉
LOVE that location! Jealous! The colors and fantastic and beautiful exposures in all the images.
Yes, great images love the colors (grass and gravel), barn, pets! One of my favorite frames as well!
