Week 52 or our Pet Photography Blog Circle! Wow! The year 2017 just flew by!
This week’s post is titled “Favorite Things” – great way to end the year! I thought I’d share a few “random” favorite things of mine.
- SMILES and HAPPINESS! This is handsome Dorian who I photographed this month. He is smiling in every picture! We did a photo session in his backyard so he was super comfortable and had the best time!
2. Christmas combined with a dog that smiles….and add in some bokeh holiday lights!!! I love the month of December. I love decorating for the holidays – putting ornaments on the tree along with decorating cookies! It really is the most wonderful time of the year! I also admit to being a serious “bokeh lover”. This was taken with my 100mm lens – it’s not my “favorite” lens as it doesn’t focus as well as my others, but in the house i gave it try since I wanted to shoot around f/2.2 and I don’t have enough space to use my 135mm or 200mm .
3. SNOW covered branches on Christmas Day combined with my favorite 135 mmm lens! These 2 are definitely a favorite of mine! This was taken later in the day with the sun front lighting Kota. Love the yellows through the trees and I always wish the snow stayed on the branches for days. There is nothing like a white Christmas! That morning my husband and I enjoyed a hike on the trails behind our house with Kota. It was so peaceful.
4. Gifts of art from images combined with Acrylic blocks – my favorite product! This is Buddy. He is my in-laws new rescue, a Swiss Mountain Dog Mix. I photographed him the beginning of this month on Squam Lake in Holderness, NH. They are in the process of choosing some artwork and this was a holiday gift to them 🙂
