Love is in the air! Happy Valentine’s Day! This week’s topic in our Pet Photography Blog circle is “Love” and I thought it would be the perfect time to introduce you to the adorable puppy I photographed recently at Maudslay State Park, Archie!!! We all LOVE puppy!!!
We met early on a Saturday morning with overcast sky. I was grateful for the layer of snow on the ground – it’s been a sad winter here in MA as we haven’t had much snow. I’m guessing we will be getting that big blizzard sometime in April!
Archie was 10 weeks old on the day. His mom and dad brought him home at 8 weeks. He’s so much fun! He LOVES to explore. Puppy sessions are usually much shorter – they “crash” – haha! We were out there for quite some time! I couldn’t get enough of this puppy cuteness!
Guess what Archie’s favorite part of the photo session was? Sticks!!! But of course! Puppies LOVE to chew!
The wonderful thing about puppies is everything in the world is so “new” to them. When I pulled out my “coyote caller” the sound is so unique, Archie stopped chewing on the stick and posed for the camera!
What else do puppies love to do? RUN!!! Archie enjoyed some running through the snow!
Archie is super food (treat!) motivated! He attends puppy classes at Blue Dog Training in North Andover and I can tell he is a star student! Check out this “sit” and “attention” he’s giving dad. Way to go Archie!
Archie focused on the camera and looking cute as ever – doesn’t he have the best FLUFF?!
This next image will be framed beautifully in a barnwood frame – I can’t wait to see it!!! This was taken right at the beginning of the photo session in an open area – love this tree and it frames Archie beautifully!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope this little puppy brightens your day! We all love the cuteness of a puppy!
Next up in our blog circle is Pet Love Photography, serving Greater Cincinnati, the San Francisco Bay Area, and destinations nationwide. Adorable pictures – will be treasured for sure!
Thank you so much, Terri!
Great shots. Puppies are so adorable. These pictures are a great remembrance of the early years.
Thanks! They grow up so fast! Even the week after when I saw him he was so much bigger!
The cuteness factor here is overwhelming. I love the log and stick chewing photo. So puppy!
Thanks, Elaine! His favorite part of the session was those sticks!
SO jealous of that puppy, the snow, the color palette, everything! The images of him on the log w/ the tan leaves and his color are perfection!
Thanks Tracy! I was so grateful the little bit of snow stayed for us 🙂 He loved climbing on the logs!!!
So fun! I love that last image with the tree. You’ll have to make Archie the subject for a 2021 Valentine post so we can all gasp at how handsome he turned out. 😀
Thanks, Kelly! The Barnwood just came today with that image and i LOVE it!!!
Barnwood would be perfect for that! 🙂
