I’m blogging with our pet photographer blog circle and I can’t believe we are half way through 2020! Wow! It’s been quite a year, that’s for sure. But let’s not get into that… this week’s post is all about favorite locations and mine happens to be a beautiful NH Vineyard that was perfect for my first “Post Covid” session with stunning Sundance and Jethro!
These beautiful pup’s mom reached out to me right before our “shut down”. They shared the exciting news of welcoming a puppy to their family! Yay!
Unfortunately we were’t able to do the session earlier in the year, but so grateful we got it in when we could! Puppies grow up so fast!
We met bright and early on a weekday morning at Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown, NH. This is my favorite place to do dog photo sessions and I’m extremely grateful the vineyard owners allow me to take advantage of their stunning grounds. No matter what season – winter, spring, summer, fall – there is always beauty that makes for the perfect backdrop. They have a gazebo, a little pond, a water feature with colorful flowers, a set of wine barrels, and a red barn to name a few.
We always start early – thank you to my clients for being troopers! I like to begin the session within a half hour after sunrise. In the summertime, that’s pretty darn early! I promise it’s worth it! On a sunny day, some of my favorite spots will get just a bit to bright.
Great photos of the dogs and vineyard. The vineyard is a beautiful place for your photo shoots. Lots of color and great scenery for backdrops.
Wow, that vineyard beautiful. The image of the shepherd pup running toward you is just perfection. Those ears!
I DO see why you love that place so much. Beautiful! I know this mom loves her images. Puppies do grow fast, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t a puppy. I LOVE that last image. Gorgeous!
I like that you show what the client sees in terms of location compared to what you capture in the final images. I wish we had somewhere like this in Pittsburgh!
That location kills me, so awesome! Might need to hook up there on my next trip north with a couple of dog models!
